I was looking through my make up yesterday and there’s a lot of things I don’t often use so what I am going to do is exchange some of my everyday products for ones I rarely use in an attempt to finish and get rid of them without wasting! I have chosen 5 items and I will try not buy any more make up until these items are finished. There is a similar tag/challenge on YouTube where you can only buy new make up when you’ve finished 10 items - this is far too hard for me!!! I am not including foundation, mascara or nail varnish!
Here are my products:

Physician’s Formula Mineral Wear™ Talc-Free Illuminating Veil™:

I am going to use this instead of my most reached for highlighter which is Nars Albatross. I’ll need to see if I can get the brush off the top though because I hate this packaging eww!
Mac’s Pressed Blotting Powder:

You might notice that it’s not in the usual packaging which is because my normal powder is Mineralize Skin Finish Natural and since I often do my make up on the train/in the car - classy - then I wanted to have a mirror on it so I just swapped over the outer cases! This one has had a terrible accident sadly and I just want to use it up and have it for Back to Mac! I’m going to see if I have another wee pot or something I could mash it up and transfer it into because it is very messy being in the shallow container!
E.L.F. Translucent Mattifying Powder:

Again another powder, but I plan to put this one in my make up bag and use the broken one when I do my make up in the house.
KCo Natural Glow:

This is a really nice product actually I got in a set with various other things for about £25. You can put it all over your face to give a healthy glow, but it does have shimmer in it and it is a bit much for me. So I am going to use this as bronzer in place of Nars Laguna. I don’t often wear bronzer to be honest, mainly on nights out and things like that so we’ll see how this one goes!
Covergirl Instant Cheekbones Contouring Blush:

I got this when I went to Florida ages ago! It was before I was aware of companies testing cosmetics on animals but just after I had started to get obsessed with make up! Covergirl is obviously not cruelty free but I don’t believe in wasting products when you’ve already bought them, you may as well finish but not repurchase. I will be trying to use this one up and using it instead of E.L.F. Berry Merry (which is also nearly done - it’s hanging on for dear life!). I will miss the berry coloured goodness - purpley blushes are my favourite - but it will be worth it in the end!
So those are my five products I hope to use up sooner than I would have! Obviously for nights out and special occasions I will deviate from these specific items, especially blush and highlighter!!
Now I need to get back to studying (an hour later than planned)
